La entrada de agua del sistema de refrigeración causa muchos daños al motor.  Aunque el calor del motor evapora el agua, el residuo se queda para ver en los análisis.

Water can cause serious damage to an engine when it gets inside.  Even though the heat of the engine evaporates the water, the minerals it leaves behind tell the story when the oil is analized.

En este ejemplo podemos ver los residuos de agua en el motor durante dos cambios y dos análisis (838 horas de uso).  El tercer análisis encontró el agua sin evaporar, y por fin hicieron las correcciones para evitar la entrada de agua.  En el cuarto análisis vemos que todo ha vuelto a lo normal con la excepción del nivel de hierro que probablemente viene de herrumbre dejado en el motor.

Here we have an engine that showed residual from water through two oil changes and their respective analysis (838 hours of use).  In the third analysis the water had not evaporated and finally the problem was fixed.  In the fourth analysis everything is normal with the possible exception of extra iron wear that may still be coming from rusted areas of the block.
